How do I register for an event?

How to Enter an Event


Underneath EVENT heading is Calendar and the Event PDF with information about each contest. To enter, choose ENTER EVENT and follow the 6 steps.


1. Ensure your personal information is current.

2. Select the event from three menus, DOMESTIC, INTERNATIONAL, or TRANSFORMATION.

3. Enter your divisions up to the maximum number allowed. NOTE: You select only one division and repeat until finished. There may also be an option to buy photos for the division.

4. Additional services can be purchased if available.

5. Read and agree to the conditions of entry, and click the NEXT button.

6. Confirm your entry by clicking the REGISTER button. NOTE: How and where you pay Entry Fees is shown.


Success! You are now entered and can share the update to social media: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Longer version with images


Registration is now open here at the ICN Members Portal. It's a very easy process for Premium Members; simply click on EVENTS, 'Enter New Event' from the expandable list, and select from the Domestic list of events, if you live in Australia or click the International list of events if wish to register for an overseas event. 

Then select the divisions you wish to enter, order any merchandise available such as videos or photographs etc. and then review your choices, then hit submit.

Use the scroll bar to see all the events that you can register for, select one by clicking on it, in the example we have selected the Southern Cross Championships in Ballarat. You can see the full details of the event in the Event Information PDF which is accessible from the main menu.

You should see your selected event now in Step 2. Proceed down to Step 3 and click on the Add  Divisions button.

We have selected Men's Fitness Open for this example, by clicking on it from the list of decisions you are eligible to register in. If the division you wanted is not on the list, it means the promoter has not scheduled it for this event. If the division is listed, then you are eligible to register, which means all your qualifications are in order. It's very important that you fill out your, "My Profile", so that we know everything about you such as height, age, gender and so on. iCompete takes its leads from your truthful and complete information. You can select multiple divisions and then click on the 'ADD SELECTED' button.

The image above shows an example of Step 3 being completed, in this case, the member selected 2 divisions, the first costing $250.00 and the second division discounted down to $100.00. There were no photographs ordered so the Sub Total is $350.00. Please note that you can withdraw either of the divisions, by clicking the button titled 'Withdraw'. If you are happy with the number of divisions you have selected (you can always add more, subtract or swap, by using the 'Edit Entry' link in the main menu), proceed to Step 4.

Step 4 is an additional area that the promoter, in this case, has offered backstage photographs at $50.00 for 8, these will be professional quality images. You can see that the Total has automatically adjusted to $400.00. Proceed to Step 5.

Step 5 is the Participation Agreement & Drug-Free Acknowledgment which has 7 clauses, please read and fully understand each part of this agreement and ONLY if you agree, click the Next button. Slower internet connections may cause you to wait for a few seconds before you are taken to Step 6.

Step 6 is a final summary and your last chance to go back to the previous page and change something if it's not right. You can see in this example that you are about to register for the Southern Cross Championships, the venue and address and date are displayed at the top. Two divisions have been selected plus a pack of 8 backstage photographs totalling $400.00. The Payment Options for both Online and In Person are also displayed. If you are 100% happy with your registration details, click on the 'Register Now' button. 

After a few seconds, you will get a 'Display Entry Success' message on the screen, our example is shown above. You can share this on Facebook to tell all your friends you are officially registered for the event. You can also access the event poster and or Event Information at this point from the buttons at the bottom of the page. That's it, congratulations, you have registered successfully and you can now leave that page and continue to explore to massive ICN Portal.
