Edit Entry

How can I go from 2 divisions to 3 divisions

A regular question we get asked is how can I edit my registration. Firstly, if you have already paid for your event online, then you can no longer make your own edits (changes). All is not lost however, you can contact the event promoter (look up his details in the Full Calendar) and ask if a manual change can be made plus a money adjustment. The promoter will tell you if it's too late to make changes manually or not. If it's very close to the event, as in just a few days, it's highly unlikely that a change will be able to be made, especially if the running program has already been published.

If you haven't paid for your entry and provided the event has 'NOT CLOSED', you can make edits/changes to your registration. The event closing date can be found in the EVENTS/Event Information PDF. Click on the EVENTS/Edit Entry as displayed in the image above, to begin the Edit process. This will take you to Step 3 of 6 from your original registration, as shown in the image below.

There are basically two ways to make a change, you can subtract a division or add a division. Use the Add Division indicated with the top black arrow, which opens a drop-down list displaying all the divisions left available to you (See the image below). You can add one or more divisions, provided you do not go past the total number of divisions permissible to enter, as set by the event promoter and disclosed in the EVENTS/Event Information PDF.

If you have only one division selected in your original registration and you want to 'SWAP' it for a different division, simply add a second division, then withdraw the original division, so you end up with just one division, which is now the division you wanted to change to. If you had two divisions in your original registration as shown in our example image up above, and you added a third division, as shown in the image below, you will see the third division is listed and that the new total has been adjusted.

After an Edit or Change like this, check that you are happy with the divisions and any merchandise you may have ordered such as photos or videos and then scroll down the page, and make sure you agree with the 'Participation Agreement & Drug-Free Acknowledgement' by clicking on the check box, shown on the bottom left of the image below, indicated by a black arrow. Then click on Next on the bottom right of the image below, indicated by a black arrow.

This will take you to a summary page where you can make a final check of the changes you made. In effect, you are making a new registration over the top of the old one, that's why you needed to agree to the terms mentioned in the previous step. The summary displayed in the image below shows Step 6 of 6, with a list of all your divisions entered, in the case of our example, that is 3 divisions, plus backstage photographs for a total of $500.00. On the bottom left are payment options. After you have digested everything on this page, if you still want to make another change, hit the Previous button to go back and make your changes and then proceed back to this summary page. Finally, if you are sure you want exactly what you see in Step 6 of 6, click on the Update button.

Please wait for the changes to take effect, you may sit for approximately 15 seconds and see a spinning icon, that indicates the computer is processing your changes. Finally, you will see an onscreen Event Entry Success image, as the image below or similar for a different event.

The Event Entry Success image above displays firstly that you have successfully made the changes to your original registration. Also, there is some advice on how and where to pay for your event, plus some other helpful information about your Communication Preferences. At the bottom is an option for you to download a copy of the Event Poster and or the Event Information PDF. There is no limit on the number of times you can make edits to your registration provided (1) You have not paid for it and (2) the event is not officially closed.
